Day 1:
Upon arriving at Tirana airport, you will be greeted by your guide/driver, who will escort you to Shkodra City.

We’ll be heading from Shkodra to Theth, a charming village in the Albanian Alps.
Our journey promises to be a feast for the eyes, as we’ll pass through stunning landscapes en route. Once we arrive in Theth, we’ll have the opportunity to take in the peaceful surroundings and explore the Church of Theth, the Blood Feud Lock-in Tower, and, if the weather is favourable, the Grunas waterfall, which is surrounded by verdant greenery and rocky cliffs.
Later, we’ll return to Shkodra.

Shkodra to Kruja
Discover the lovely city of Shkodra, situated near the beautiful Lake Shkodra. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the lake from the Rozafa Castle. Stroll through the pedestrian street of Pedonale Kole Idromeno, brimming with cafes and shops. Embark on a drive to the historic town of Kruja. Explore the Kruja Castle, home to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s National Hero. Browse through the Old Bazaar and indulge in traditional crafts and souvenirs.

Tirana to Berat
Begin your journey from Tirana and make your way to Berat, an esteemed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the remarkably preserved Ottoman-style architecture present in the old town. Berat to Apollonia and Vlora
Begin your journey from Berat and venture to the ancient city of Apollonia, which is one of Albania’s most significant archaeological sites. Take the time to explore the ruins, including the Odeon, the Bouleuterion, and the Monastery of St. Mary. Afterward, continue your travels to the coastal city of Vlora, known as the City of Independence, where Albanian patriots declared independence in 1912 from the Ottoman empire.
Spend your evening relaxing on the beach or stroll along the promenade.

Vlora to Saranda
Depart from Vlora and drive to Saranda, a charming coastal town.
During the journey, we will make a few stops to appreciate the stunning scenery and beaches of the Albanian Riviera. In Saranda, we can stroll along the waterfront promenade and take in the Ionian Sea’s breathtaking vistas, which is opposite Corfu Island.

Saranda to Blue Eye and Gjirokastra
Discover the breathtaking Blue Eye, a natural spring that boasts vivid blue waters and is enveloped by lush greenery. A 20-minute walk from the car park is required to reach this destination. Take a trip to the UNESCO-listed city of Gjirokastra, renowned for its remarkably preserved Ottoman architecture. Explore the Gjirokastra Castle and its Weapons museum
beside a notorious prison previously used by the Ottomans, former King, and ultimately shut down by the Communist government in the 1960s and 1970s. Lastly, meander through the charming cobblestone streets of the old town.
